About

The Yale Club of Central Ohio is a community of more than 1,100 Yale affiliates, including alumni, current Yale students, spouses and partners, and parents throughout the greater Columbus region.

The Club enriches the lives of Yale alumni by fostering meaningful connections among local alumni, Yale University, and communities across Central Ohio. Through programs, events, service, and outreach, members bring together their time, talents, and shared commitment to strengthen connections, inspire engagement, and make a positive impact throughout the region.

A note from our President

The Yale Club of Central Ohio was created as a not-for-profit corporation in 1971 with purposes that included facilitating, initiating and participating in programs and projects aimed at developing and maintaining mutual understanding between Yale, its alumni and local residents of Central Ohio. Other goals were to encourage enrollment of qualified students to the university, promote public relations work on behalf of the university, and initiate and facilitate programs and projects aimed at maintaining continued cooperation with the university.

On June 3, 2026, Yale Club of Central Ohio President Molly Hughes '03 welcomed approximately 30 Yale alumni and affiliates to her home in New Albany for a community reception marking the beginning of the club's strategic relaunch.
