Yale Club of Central Ohio Relaunches with Strong Community Support

On June 3, 2026, Yale Club of Central Ohio President Molly Hughes '03 welcomed approximately 30 Yale alumni and affiliates to her home in New Albany for a community reception marking the beginning of the club's strategic relaunch. Our liaison from the YAA, Jake Joseph, and Senior Director of Regional Clubs at the YAA, Mindy Marks ’00 were in attendance from New Haven to lend their support. The evening brought together alumni spanning multiple generations and Yale schools, including longtime club supporters, recent graduates, and first-time attendees, all eager to reconnect and help shape the club's future. The gathering generated tremendous enthusiasm for rebuilding a vibrant Yale community in Central Ohio, home to more than 1,100 Yale affiliates, including nearly 600 alumni in the greater Columbus area. That momentum continued with a follow-up planning Zoom, where 15 Yalies volunteered to help organize future programs and strengthen the club's leadership.
